Furtherance

Central Oregon Foster Parents Association (COFPA) is dedicated to supporting Foster Families to succeed and continue to provide a loving environment for the children.

COFPA is a private not for profit organization which serves all of Crook, Deschutes and Jefferson counties. We envision a Central Oregon where there are plenty of Foster Homes for our vulnerable children.  And where each Foster Family is serving one Foster child/sibling group at a time.

COFPA provides a diversity of services that not only support our Foster Families in their mission, but can help meet additional physical needs so that all the lives in that Foster home can have their physical and emotional needs met.  We provide access to education, support and connections.  Our services assist Foster Families to become more proactive than reactive.

COFPA partners with the community to ensure all resources are available to our Foster Community.  We are creative, resourceful and flexible in designing services to meet the needs of our Foster Families.
