About The Event
Children who have experienced the trauma of sexual abuse may require special understanding and supervision. Helping children recover while keeping them safe can be a challenging job for foster, adoptive and relative caregivers. This class will help caregivers understand the effects of sexual abuse on children and will provide strategies to promote healing and safety in the home.
